Myanmar National Poomsae Team Head Coach (2018 - Now)
From a very young age, Master Chaw knew that Taekwondo was her calling. Despite graduating with a Bachelor Degree in Law from East Yangon University, Master Chaw continued pursuing her passion in Taekwondo. She trained hard every day and won many medals in the local competitions, eventually getting scouted to join the country’s National Team. In 2009, she represented Myanmar to clinch a hard-won Bronze Medal at the SEA Games. From then on, she started her coaching career with the Myanmar Taekwondo Federation as their Poomsae Coach, before finally taking over as the Head Poomsae Coach in 2018. Master Chaw led the Myanmar Taekwondo National Team to the SEA games in 2019, where her team won several medals for the country.
In between coaching for the National Taekwondo Team in Myanmar for important events like the SEA games, Master Chaw coaches KTMA’s Poomsae Competition Team and handles KTMA’s training curriculum in that regard.
