Taekwondo Lessons for Tiny Tots, Junior Kids and Kids

Tiny Tots / Junior / Kids Class

Focus on learning the fundamentals of Taekwondo and developing your core strength and flexibility. Rudimental class encompasses 3 types of classes. First is the Beginner’s class (level 1), where you start off your Taekwondo Journey during the first year. Second is the Intermediate class (level 2), where you can experience more aspects of Taekwondo such as Basic Sparring in your 2nd year. Lastly, you will proceed to the Advanced class (level 3), where you hone your skills in preparation for the coveted black belt.

Sparring Class

Our sparring class is suitable for all ages. Contrary to popular belief, sparring classes do not advocate violence. They focus on self-defence while training your agility and stamina. They require mental concentration and build confidence in you. More importantly, KTMA Singapore provides you with a SAFE environment to practice sparring. Come experience the way KTMA teaches sparring – we promise you’ll be blown away!

Whether you are a beginner or a veteran with many years of Taekwondo training under your belt, there will always be someone at KTMA to guide you along. Our line-up of instructors includes National Team Coaches who have a very keen eye for detail and are able to bring out the champion in you!

Pattern/ Sparring Competition

Taekwondo is an Olympic Sport, globally recognised as the most trained martial art. The number of opportunities to compete locally and globally are numerous and cover a broad range of areas including but not limited to: Sparring, Pattern/Poomsae and Demonstrations.

KTMA strives to provide as many opportunities for our students as possible – be it locally or globally. We are proud to have produced countless National and International Gold Medallists over the years.

Black Belt Class

A black belt in Taekwondo is the prerequisite for the technical class. All that training from before was just the appetiser, and the Technical Class is the main course. Here at KTMA Singapore, we teach you the advanced skills that you frequently see on media – Flying Kicks, Back Flips, 360s and 720s… even the famed nunchaku (aka nunchucks) will be within reach.

Self-Defence/ Anti-Bullying (Holiday Program)

Taekwondo is a self-defence oriented martial art at its roots. That is why, our focus never strays far from our origins. Self-defence is not just about techniques and physical strength. It’s also about mental fortitude and inner confidence – all of which are undeniably important traits to have.

As such, self-defence and anti-bullying techniques are taught from the very beginning in our regular Rudimental Classes. Everything you learn is applicable in real-life. Our KTMA instructors will give you the courage and resilience to push through tough times. We also have specialised self-defence classes and seminars hosted by well-trained instructors, specifically to mimic the various real-life situations and go into deeper details.
